Located by the poolside, the restaurant takes its name from the mermaid in the Dhivehi language. The restaurant is located in Medhufushi’s iconic pyramid-shaped water pavilion, an open-air space sheltered from the breeze and coconut thatch. The glass lagoon view can be viewed during the day and night, making it suitable for dining at sunset. A la carte menu, wine and other beverage options available.

Housed in a thatched-roof building on the water pyramid, Vilu Bar offers a wide selection of spirits, cocktails, wines and beers, as well as a snack menu. The hotel facilities include billiards area, darts area and library area. The venue regularly hosts special events such as crab races and traditional Maldivian drumming performances (bodu beru).
