Resort Intro

Sun Siyam Vilu Reef in the Maldives boasts a lush vegetation coverage of 86%, with dense tropical greenery surrounding the guest accommodations, offering excellent privacy. The island maintains a healthy ecosystem, home to dozens of parrots that have long nested and bred here. According to public data, this resort ranked first for both returning guests and repeat stays in the Maldives for three consecutive years—2017, 2018, and 2019. A German couple once stayed here a total of 40 times, setting a record for the highest number of repeat visits by a single guest in Maldivian hotel history. The resort attracts major visitors from Germany and Arab countries, reflecting its high service acceptance. The island is small but features a long, trailing beach. On one side, during specific seasons, wind conditions cause an accumulation of algae microorganisms to create a striking blue bioluminescent glow on the water—the so-called "Blue Tears." Due to rock formations and algal deposits along this coastline, it draws large numbers of fish, and at night, manta rays can be seen swimming nearby, earning it the nickname "Manta Ray Nighttime Dining Spot." The island hosts a manta ray cave where groups of manta rays and stingrays are regularly observed, and daily feeding shows are held near the dock. Snorkeling and diving conditions are exceptional, ideal for enthusiasts.

Island Advantages ① Ranked first in both returning guests and repeat stays in the Maldives for three consecutive years (2017–2019). ② Features a manta ray cave and ancient shipwreck site suitable for snorkeling. ③ Though small in size, it has an extended beach structure. ④ Offers all-inclusive pricing, making it a standout value among five-star resorts. ⑤ Operates in tandem with Iru Veli for dual-island experiences.

Island Disadvantages Limited island area results in a relatively small number of rooms, making it a popular choice among Chinese honeymooners.
