The island lies adjacent to Hanifaru Bay—a UNESCO-designated World Biosphere Reserve—and is a sister island to Andaz Huvafen Fushi. Although officially opened in 2021, the resort was developed on an existing natural island with minimal artificial alterations. Leveraging Hyatt’s mature operational system, it ensures stable service quality without the typical growing pains of a new property. The overall design maintains strong consistency with Alila Wuzhen.

Snorkeling areas are limited and not suitable for 360-degree exploration across the entire island. However, just over ten meters from the bar area lies a deep-sea trench, and the waters facing the water villas offer excellent snorkeling conditions. Wave barriers are only installed near the dock area; there are no breakwaters around the guest accommodations, preserving the visual integrity of the lagoon. A small offshore sandbank is accessible by speedboat and offers diverse activities such as drone photography, leisure dining, music appreciation, sunset viewing, birdwatching, shell collecting, and snorkeling—delivering a rich experience.

All room types feature private pools. Beach villas exceed 200 square meters in size, while all water villas are equipped with net beds. Beach villa pools measure 4.5 meters by 2.5 meters, and water villa pools are 5.2 meters by 2.78 meters, both with a consistent depth of 1.2 meters. Bath amenities and spa services use in-house branded products. To reduce plastic waste, toiletries are provided in powder form instead of traditional packaging.

The children’s club is relatively small, making the overall environment more suited to honeymooners.
